Changing Maya UI & Handy shortcuts

Changing Maya UI:

A handfull of people don't like new look of Maya and aren't entirely sure on how to change the interface without breaking the software. A quick and easy way is to locate your Maya.exe file and create a shortcut on your desktop. Right-click on the icon and select Properties. You will see the Target Line which gives you the path to the maya.exe file. Insert a space after the quotes and type-style platique. Click on apply and see the UI change dramatically.

Once you have acchieved that, you cn play with different types of UI style codes: Plastique, cde, motif, cleanlooks, windows, monolith.

If you wish to go to the default UI, then simply delete -style name.

Handy shortcuts:
[F] = Frame objects in selected view

[Shift] + [F] = Frame all objects in all views

[G] = Repeat Last

[P] = ParentING OBJECTS

[S] = Set a keyframe

[Z] = Undo

[Shift] + [Z] = Redo
