Ubuntu One:
If you work on multiple computers, then Ubuntu One can aid your productivity a lot. Ubuntu One is file syncronisation service already built into Ubuntu (think DropBox). Go to System > Preference > Ubuntu One. Create an account from there or Sign-in with an existing one. You can configure which folders to sync, you can also purchase/download music and software from your Ubuntu One account. One note, if you are accessing the internet via a proxy server, this might not work for you, even if you configured the proxy in the global settings.
