Right-clicks:
A lot of touchscreen interface users might not be aware that pressing and holding any menu listing would simulate a right click, and would typically present you with context options. For example if you are in the Call Log, and you press and hold any number or contact, it will give you an option to send an SMS straight away. Similarly under contacts, you can press and hold any contact from the list to get an option to send it as a 'Business Card' via SMS.
Quick Bluetooth switching:
Symbian has often been criticized for not having a dedicated shortcut easy access menu listing for Bluetooth power on and off, especially before the introduction of widgetised home screen. But did you know you can toggle Bluetooth power by simply pressing and holding the * key.
Finding your MAC address:
Every network interface of each device has its own unique MAC address. If your Wi=Fi network, at home or office, needs authentication via MAC, here is a simple way to find your phone's wireless MAC address. Simply type *#62209526#. If you entered the code correctly, you wouldn't need to press the dial button to get the notification message with your WLAN MAC address.

Symbian^3, like Android and other interfaces supports multiple homescreens. Upto three on most devices. If you think that is a little too much information overload then you can reduce them very simply by clicking options after switching to the home screen you want to delete and then choosing 'delete' from the context menu. If you later decide to change your mind an want to add a homescreen then go the homescreen after [on the right side] which you want the new homescreen. Click Options and then choose "New Home Screen". Symbian^3 provides added security to your portable device by giving an option to lock it remotely in case of theft or similar unwanted circumstances. You will of course need to enable this before you loose the possession of your phone. This can be accomplished by Going to Settings > Phone > Phone Management then you will have to navigate to Security Settings > Phone and SIM Card. Under this there will be a field named Remote phone locking. Enable it. Enter a remote locking message or a password. Tapping on the time display will quickly take you the "New Alarm" screen Right next to it you can try tapping in the blank area next to the clock and it will give you a profile selection menu and open calendar option. While clicking near the battery, it will give you the option to access the connectivity and clock settings. Very discreet and a huge time saver.
