There might be instances where you keep mailing to a common list of people. It is a tedious job to remember each and every name and keep adding them every time you write a new mail. Gmail allows you to group a list of email addresses into a single group.
Click on "Contacts" on the left of your Gmail inbox, and then click on New group to create your new group. You can add new contacts into this group or just include existing contacts in this group. When you want to send a mail to the particular group, start typing the group name in the To field while composing a new mail, the auto-complete feature of Gmail will pick it up and give the group name under the suggested list of manes. You can select the group from the list and the mail will be sent to all contacts added to the group.
