Stay connected at all times, click on Latitude in the Menu, sign into your account and activate this feature to see your friends on a map, find out who's nearby and meet up. Without GPS?:
Even if your phone does not have GPS, you can still use Google Maps for Mobiles to tell your present location. The My Location feature is based on the BTS (Base Transceiver Station) of mobile operators with an accuracy of 1000 m approximately. Click on My Location in the Menu and a blue dot will slowly appear to mark your present location as accurately as possible but you'll need an active internet connection on the phone even if the data transfer is not very small, it is still a usefull perk to have on your phone when travelling.
