Ever since Panasonic unveiled the first professional 3D camera, tech enthusiasts have been waiting for its cheap, home use replacement. The DXG-5D7V is a start and is available for pre-order for $600. Capable of shooting in both 2D and 3D, the DXG records video at 640x480 resolution on a 3.25-inch display and uses a twinlens VGA shooter. No need for 3D glasses for this one, as the display has a parallax overlay, but it does not shoot in HD.
