Bridging the gap between keyboard and mouse
The Naga is a mouse specially designed for Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games and has an unbelievable 17 progammable buttons. If looking at the numpad like thumb grid, you’re wondering “is it a keyboard or a mouse?” ,we wouldn’t blame you.
To use the Naga effectively, you’ll certainly need to have some Korean blood. It seems hugelly unfair to unleash the Naga in an MMO or RTS as it comes complete with add – on support for specific games that enable you to use those additional buttons in intresting ways. It’s like bringing a nuke to a gunfight. And we agree with the tag line, the mouse does help you Get Imba (imbalanced). At the same time (Korean blood ro not) if you thought using so many buttons would be difficult, you’re not alone, so did Razer. They have graciously included a grid trainer in the bundle, which helps you get used to the Thumb Grid. The last two rows are still just too difficult to reach.
In terms of performance it does not disappoint. Despite the bulk it’s still very ergonomic and easy on the hand even after extended use. The build quality is very good. Tracking was flawless on most surfaces. The mouse features feet that run around the entire base of the mouse. This increases the drag a bit making the mouse not as nimble. But this is not necessarily a disadvantage once you get used to it. For the price of Rs. 4,990 it’s a good mix for features and performance for the gaming scenario it was designed for.
