Finding a plug-in:

After installing a plug-in/script you might find yourself digging through the menus in hope to find it. A smarter way is to go “Help > Plug-in Browser” and then search for your plug-in. Then the third-line in the right hand side pane will show you the Menu Hierarchy under which it is located.

Liquid Rescaling:

Have you ever wanted to resize a picture with a change in aspect ratio, hoping it won’t distort important things inside, like in a very smart way. This is your answer to that. It uses a very innovative ‘Seam Carving’ algorithm. Install the plugin from registry.gimp.org [If you have gimp-plugin-registry installed it will be there by default]. You can find the plug-in under the ‘Layers’ menu unlike most other plug ins which are under Filters menu. You will need to experiment a bit, but we will show you some examples, which will make your efforts worth it. For more, visit http://liquidrescale.wikidot.com.
