Acer has been very nice, and launched three great new devices in India, at pretty much the same time as the rest of the world. These are the Iconia Tab A500 – a 10-inch Android Honeycomb tablet with a Tegra 2 dual-core processor for Rs. 27,990; the Iconia Tab W500 – a 10-inch Windows 7 tablet with a 1 GHz AMD Fusion dual-core processor and 32 GB SSD for Rs. 32,499; and Iconia laptop – a 14-inch Windows 7 based dual-screen notebook with full featured specs for Rs. 69,999.
Acer also introduced the Iconia Smart A300 smartphone-tablet hybrid, which runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and a 7-inch Honeycomb tablet – the Iconia Tab A100. Both devices are expected to arrive in July, and so far, no pricing has been fixed for them.
