A 23 year old British student form London, Kieron Scott-Woodhouse, has designed a mobile phone made from bamboo. This new smartphone called 'ADzero', which is expected to launch later this year, this is made from organically bamboo. The phone runs on Google's Android operating system.
Scott-Woodhouse is a full-time student on Middlesex University's Product Design course. He designed this phone in his spare time because he was frustrated that so many existing models looked similar to each other.

Its Weigh is half of the iPhone, the device will also have a 'ring flash' to make the illumination of pictures taken with its camera. Made from four year old bamboo. Bamboo may seem like a strange material to use for a phone, but it's actually extremely strong and very durable, perfect qualities for this kind of application. initially intended for the Chinese market in designer retailers later in 2012. There is no confirmation o when it will be released, but it looks like it will only be available in UK and China at first.
