Shortcut keys with Command key are more similar to the shortcuts of Windows OS with Ctrl key but the other different keys are present in the Apple keyboard. These are Control, Option keys.

Startup Keyboard Shortcuts:
Press the key or key combination until the expected function occurs/appears (for example, hold Option during startup until Startup Manager appears, or Shift until "Safe Boot" appears).
