Apple ambitious everyday notebook the MacBook Air's latest variant was just released worldwide recently.
The MacBook Air comes with a lot of updates from the previous MacBook Air. One of the main features was that it will come preinstalled with OS X Lion, the latest operating system from apple. It also comes with Apple's award winning personal suite call iLife. OS X lion also allow for fullscreen apps on the MacBook Air. It also comes with built in cameras and speakers which combine perfectly with facetime.

Other than that it also comes with a multi-touch trackpad the multi-touch keypad is perfectly designed for three finger swipes and four finger pinches. It has a battery life of 5-7 hrs after a single charge. It comes with 2USB port's one SD card slot. The thunderbolt port will allow data transfer upto 12 times faster than the firewire 800. Since it is a portable device and was designed originally as a device to browse the web it also features 802.11n wi-fi and bluetooth 4.0 to give you amazing wireless connectivity.
Overall it is a great product but slightly overpriced at $999 but once you buy it you can be sure that with the overall usability of the device and the wonderful apple support it will be worth the money. It is an ideal choice for your first Mac.
