Find results for a particular date range:
When you want to find instances of your search phrase, say web 2.0 appearing on the internet in a particular chronological era, you can use the daterange: operator. However, there are two important points to note. The dates have to be entered in Julian format (which is no simple task) and the date is not the date of creation, but the date on which Google indexed the page. For example, the Julian date for April 16, 2000, is 2451650. To find the instances of "web 2.0" being used between April 16, 2000 and April 16, 2003 use the search web 2.0 daterange: 2451650-2452745. There is Gregorian (normal) to Julian converters available online.
